Enric Rota jovani : Promotionate our work. .Frank Scott: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?. Enric Rota jovani : 3 years. .Frank Scott: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?. Enric Rota jovani : It was all fruit of inspiration. .Frank Scott: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?. Enric Rota jovani : First I would like to produce this design on my own, see how it works. .Frank Scott: What made you design this particular type of work?. Enric Rota jovani : I have always been keen on adjustable lighting, cozy shadows and other light possibilities. .Frank Scott: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?. Enric Rota jovani : No, there weren't. .Frank Scott: Who is the target customer for his design?. Enric Rota jovani : People who enjoy design objects for their everyday life. .Frank Scott: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?. Enric Rota jovani : This light is unique because the lighting is adjustable thanks to the analogic blinds system. .Frank Scott: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?. Enric Rota jovani : The general name is functional description. There are several models, each one with a different name inspired by roots from ancient languages. .Frank Scott: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?. Enric Rota jovani : Pencil, eraser, coffee. .Frank Scott: What is the most unique aspect of your design?. Enric Rota jovani : It is adjustable. .Frank Scott: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?. Enric Rota jovani : An industrial designer, an architect, a graphic designer... .Frank Scott: What is the role of technology in this particular design?. Enric Rota jovani : None at all. .Frank Scott: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?. Enric Rota jovani : No, it isn't. I didn't make any research, I just followed my inspiration and my instinct. .Frank Scott: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?. Enric Rota jovani : Making it easy. .Frank Scott: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?. Enric Rota jovani : I saw an add on the Internet, and then I decided to get in. .Frank Scott: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?. Enric Rota jovani : Making things easy sometimes is very difficult! I learned to be more patient and enjoy all the parts of the process that I didn't know about. .
